Doll Doll about image

our origins

for us, one of the most frustrating questions during transition has been “where do i find shoes & clothes that fit???”. we don't think we’re alone. even just trying to find your new style might leave you frustrated and confused. so many of us trans girls lack the education that comes with being raised as a girl - learning styling fundamentals from mom, sisters, friends, and having years to experiment and make mistakes… but even once you get over that first hurdle and find some stuff you like, finding stuff that ACTUALLY fits can become even more challenging or just impossible :/ we started doll doll in 2025 to solve this issue. we wanted to start with the foundational, unavoidable problem of footwear because we couldn’t find any other companies that consistently make cute/quality/practical/affordable shoes in wider widths + larger sizes (especially not shoes marketed to trans women). our shoes, clothes, everything is driven by the same philosophy. we’re creating garments that account for the subtleties of a trans woman’s bod, and making pieces that trans women not only want, but actually need.

our mission

very recently (as you may have noticed), trans women have been making major strides in pop culture, tv and movies, in music, in the arts…but less so in fashion. we don't believe this is anyone’s fault in particular, but that it’s stemming from the lack of options we have as trans women (as well as leading past lives defined by repression). doll doll wants to help blaze this trail and hopefully inspire other trans folks to get into fashion, play with clothing more, and create new beauty standards for ourselves ✨(if you’re a trans fashion designer plz get in contact with us, we want to work with you). We’re committed to staffing our company with trans women as much as possible - using trans models (obviously), designers, artists, office workers…we’re trying to create employment opportunities for the dolls. our goal with this company is to be kind of like the Gap, or ann taylor in the 90's...but for trans women! really good quality products at a reasonable price point that are designed with the intricacies of your body in mind so you know it will fit, everything will look good together and hold up over time, and you dont really have to think about it anymore. we want to build the foundations of your new wardrobe! we also want to help other trans women learn how to integrate our products into their style, or just how to style outfits in general. our products are intentionally ubiquitous, because they’re meant to seamlessly integrate into a range of aesthetics. so whether you dress in dark academia, cottagecore, goth, girl next door, corporate girlie…or literally anything - you’ll find something here for you. additionally - all of our models will be trans women to help you visualize yourself wearing our pieces. we’re a scrappy, baby company. we will make mistakes. we will learn, things will change. but we will always try harder, get better, and aim higher with the support and feedback of our community :)
